Thought for the Day/Week

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY/WEEK:

"In my view, the Christian religion is most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed...No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people."

~Noah Webster- preface to 1828 Dictionary~

Charity's Birthday with the family

This year, Charity chose chicken fried steak for her birthday dinner. Her siblings were happy to join her for her favorite meal. Afterwards, we sat around and visited, and one by one the instruments emerged...
Charity opened some gifts.
Esther and Ethan investigating the loot
However, the kids were most intrigued by the sour balls in the candy dish!
They both know how to say "CANDY?"After getting permission...(of course), grandma gave them each a sour ball, and it had the most unusual effect!

Having fun with the new toys...

More music

Even SAMUEL had fun with the new toys.
Connecting 2 barrels of monkeys is quite a feat!

fun with the babies

There are plenty of babies to go around!

Charity chose a movie for the evening, but the most entertainment came from the babies.

Little Jonathan found grandma's old phone book, and had a great time ripping it to shreds! Just the excuse I needed to throw it away!

He couldn't have been happier!

Jonathan's secret hideout

Esther enjoyed that guy who looks like daddy, but doesn't spank her!
She calls him "Docksun".
Music once again

Esther helps Hannah...Jonathan can help too!
Here comes the cake!
10 candles!Happy Birthday

Jonathan likes cake! "gimme some!"
Since Charity got marbles- all of the kids decided to play a few rounds on the floor before breaking up the party.
even Daniel and Amanda got into the action.
Happy Birthday Charity!
