Grandma and Grandpa Massey planned months ago for our family and the Gerlachs to come to Garnett to play for their church services. That day finally arrived. We took 3 vehicles, so Daniel and Amanda rode together.
It was clear the whole trip until we were just outside of Garnett, and it was raining so hard we could hardly see! We had one umbrella, so it was put to good use...getting Amanda safely into the house.

Our tables- Grandma is still not up and walking on her broken ankle, so dad and I took turns getting her "the green stuff"...(peppers on a piece of pizza)
After dinner we relaxed and visited for a while.

Who is the chaperon?
Once nap time was over, the rook tournament began...no James...ROOK!
Grandma found some opponents for a scrabble match.

Shari and I prepared dinner...which was a "makeup Father's Day meal" since we weren't able to be with dad on Father's Day this year.
Say "Cheese"!
Some went to the family room to hear Grandpa on his keyboard.
Grandpa still takes the time to go to nursing homes to "entertain".
Hannah gives her "teasing rival" a hug.
Happy Father's Day, Grandpa!
