Thought for the Day/Week

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY/WEEK:

"In my view, the Christian religion is most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed...No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people."

~Noah Webster- preface to 1828 Dictionary~

A FAMILY WEDDING

The month of March has been a busy one for our family. One of the events in which we were privileged to participate was the wedding of my cousin Stan's daughter, Jessica Massey.
The wedding and rehearsal were located at Eberly Farms in West Wichita. The rehearsal was outdoors, but with strong winds and rain, the ceremony was held indoors...much to our delight!
The rehearsal was in a beautiful setting...so we took some photos of Esther.
After the rehearsal, we all went to a restaurant for the dinner. This is Jessica, and her new husband, Brandon Epp. They will live in Waco Texas.
Rebecca, Daniel, Samuel and Hannah played classical string quartet music. Musically, it was a very traditional service.
Ethan and I were a little distracted during the ceremony.
A short video clip of a string piece played during the prelude.

After the ceremony, Eberly farms catered a delicious dinner of barbecue and much more.
I took the opportunity to take photos of family. Larry and some of his kids...
Stan and Adrienne Massey- parents of the bride.
Dave and Rachel enjoying their dinner.
Daniel and Amanda...enjoying each other!
Esther and her dad sharing a basket of nachos before the meal.
Hannah and April...enjoying catching up with each other.
Dad's nephews- the sons of his brother, Clyde Massey...Mitch, Stan and Brad Massey
Congratulations to Jessica and Brandon. May you live a long and happy life together, and may you be blessed by God in your union.
