Thought for the Day/Week
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY/WEEK:
"In my view, the Christian religion is most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed...No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people."
~Noah Webster- preface to 1828 Dictionary~

Esther decided that finding a nice safe place to read a book was preferable.Jonathan got some special attention from Sarah, and it made him absolutely giddy! click play to watch the clip of Jonathan...the giggle box.
Once the guys returned, we had ice cream sundaes
Ethan could find a willing donor wherever he went!and more...

Prairie Rose Western Days
The day was filled with stories from the Santa Fe trail, wagon rides, demonstrations and crafts of the old west. It was a treat to be able to participate in this event. Thanks Prairie Rose. It was a very educationally profitable field trip.
